Ex-ALA boxers to fight under Sanman’s banner
CEBU, Philippines — Former ALA Boys Kevin Jake “KJ” Cataraja, Jeo “Santino” Santisima, Melvin “El Gringo” Jerusalem and Esneth “Hard Hitter” Domingo will be fighting for the first time under the wings of Sanman Promotions/ZIP today, December 17.
They will showcase their skills in Sanman’s second show since the pro boxing restart billed as the “Vengeance”, which will be staged behind closed doors under strict health protocols at the Sanman Gym in General Santos City.
The unbeaten WBO Youth super flyweight champion Cataraja (11-0, 9KOs) will mix it up with John Mark Apolinario, while one-time world title challenger Santisima (19-3, 16KOs) will take on rising prospect Marjon Piencenaves.
On the other hand, the WBC No.2 minimumweight contender Jerusalem (15-2, 9KOs) will go up against Jayson Francisco, while Domingo (13-1, 7KOs) will trade blows with Gerald Alvarez. — EBV
