CEBU, Philippines — Decorated Cebuana gymnast Daniela Reggie De La Pisa came up with another attention-grabbing performance to grab four gold and three bronze medals during the 2020 TavazsiKupa in Budapest, Hungary over the weekend.

The 16-year-old De La Pisa, who delivered gold for Team Philippines in rhythmic gymnastics during last year’s 30th Southeast Asian (SEA) Games, wonher gilts in the ribbon, clubs, and balls apparatus and in the individual all-around of the FIG senior division.

De La Pisa’s teammate Breanna Labadan also made her presence felt with three bronzes in the junior division.

The major awardee at the 37th SAC-SMB All-Cebu Sports Awards and one of PSA Sports Award’s Milo Junior Athletes of the Year is now a permanent resident visa holder in Hungary.

However, she hasn’t made up her mind yet whether she will continue her studies there or return to the country in the next school year.

While in Hungary, De La Pisa promised to keep on soaring high as she aims to conquer the bigger stage in gymnastics and hopefully make it to the Olympics someday.
