Don Bosco Alumni FC sizzles in Aboitizland football

CEBU, Philippines — Don Bosco Alumni FC posted back-to-back victories to take the driver’s seat in two divisions of the 21st Aboitizland Football Cup yesterday at Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu’s football field in Barangay Canduman, Mandaue City.

DBTC’s Alumni silenced ERCO FC, 5-0 in the executive division to go up with 2-0 win-loss record.

Fatboys also outsmarted the Arkiteks, 2-1, to share the second spot with University of San Carlos Alumni.

In the 38-above, Don Bosco Alumni also collected its second win after silencing the Queen City United, 7-0, while ERCO and the Fatboys ended its game in a 3-all draw.

In the inter-BPO, Accenture and Eperformax both lead in the men and ladies’ division. Accenture came up with a 2-1 win against Timex in the men’s division while Eperformax upended Lear, 1-0, as Concentrix beat JP Morgan, 2-0. Wipro also overpowered Terradyne, 4-0.

Eperformax lady booters escaped with a 1-0 win against Accenture, while Concentrix pummeled Primary Structures, 4-0. (FREEMAN)
