Ruiz, Pagaura top San Vicente duathlon

CEBU, Philippines — Multi-titled Pamela Ruiz and Jonathan Pagaura ruled their respective divisions in the first San Vicente Offroad Duathlon yesterday in Barangay San Vicente, Liloan.

Ruiz of Team Keith De Fiebre claimed the women’s tiara over Hanna Bun, while Vylette Kaye Alvarez wound up third.

Pagaura, for his part, finished first in the men’s division of the  5-kilometer run, 25-kilometer bike and 3-kilometer run, followed by Jimboy Butad and Mitchell Pilapil, who settled for second and third place, respectively.

Meanwhile, the tandem of Donkey Sanchez and Joland Olmilla reigned supreme in the relay action. (FREEMAN)
