CUCC to stage maiden triathlon race
CEBU, Philippines — Triathlon enthusiasts will have something to look forward to this summer as the Cebu United Cycling Club (CUCC) will stage its first triathlon race billed as “Paulabz69 Triathlon” on June 1 starting and ending at the HK Beach Resort in Basdako, Moalboal town North of Cebu.
The grueling race covers a 600-meter swim, 30-kilometer bike and 5K run.
It features the newbie open, women’s open, CUCC locals and team relay categories.
Trophies and cash prizes will be given away to the top three winners. The fourth to 10th placers will receive.
Those who are interested to join only have until May 1 to register.
Entry fee is pegged at P500 (without shirt) and P750 (with shirt) for the newbie, women’s open and team relay and P250 (without shirt) and P400 (with shirt) for CUCC locals.
