USC girls stay hot in CESAFI futsal
CEBU, Philippines — The University of San Carlos kept its record clean after collecting its six wins at the expense of the University of Southern Philippines-Foundation, 8-1, in the 2019 Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation Inc. (CESAFI) futsal tournament yesterday at the USC main gym.
Jolina Colon waxed hot with four goals on the 1st, 18th, 28th and 39th minute of the game.
Four of Colon’s teammates in Karina Curvo, Andrea Badinas and Kiara Amarga contributed with a goal each.
USC girls will have their final assignments today against University of San Jose-Recoletos and defending champion Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu.
SHS-AdC, for its part, scored a lopsided 15-0 victory over Sisters of Mary School-Girlstown.
Marlene Cabatingan was unstoppable scoring five goals. Andrea Alforque had a hat trick, while Nicole Chua and Mikeila Tolentino chipped in two goals each.
