SHS-Ateneo booters to invade Oroquieta City

CEBU, Philippines — The Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu will try to claim another title via the first Oroquieta Cityhood Football Cup today at the Oroquieta City field.

SHS-Ateneo booters will represent Central Visayas being the CVIRAA secondary division’s defending champions.SHS-AdC decided to join the event as part of its tune-up for the CVIRAA Regional Meet set later this month in Dumaguete City.

It’s going to be a good event for SHS-AdC as they face the best of Misamis Occidental, Dipolog, Tangub, Cagayan de Oro, Ozamiz and Oroquieta City.

Leading the cast for SHS-AdC are team skipper John Veloso and Leo Maquiling.Kiann Partosa is also back after being sidelined due to injury.

Completing the team of coach Oliver Colina are Christian Lumapas,Mushashi Ayabe,Shaq Amoyan, Anthony Mandaue, Nathan Bajarias, Julian Cabatingan, Keith Fernandez, Zachary Frias, Miguel Galang, Eymard Golosino, Richard Osmeña, Hans Paglinawan, John Rufin, Matthew Suico, Iverson Almonte, Niellson Villaver and Yushiki Yamaguchi.

 SHS-AdC-Central Visayas will be facing Ozamiz City in the opening day followed by a match against Cagayan de Oro and Dipolog tomorrow.
