CEBU, Philippines — Over a hundred parbusters are expected to join in the 25th Eagles Golf Tournament set for December 7 at the Cebu Country Club.

The event, which is among the highlights of the Silver jubilee of Sacred Heart School- Ateneo de Cebu Batch '93, was formally launched by tournament organizers Sydney Go, Clark Gothong, Jess King and Ian Tan yesterday at the City Sports Club-Cebu.

It is open to all alumni and non-alumni players.

"This is open to all golfers, so we invite them all to come and join us," said Sydney Go, the tournament's co-chairman.

The one-day tilt features the individual and two-man team event under the alumni and open division.

The top three winners in each category will receive trophies while the overall individual champion in the alumni division will be awarded with the perpetual trophy with his name etched on the silverware.

A brand new Mercedes Benz car, a Harley Davidson and Skygo motorcycles, and a Filmon package are at stake for a hole-in-one on designated holes.

"This time we will have four holes. Before it was only one hole for the hole-in-one and now we are making it four so the players will have bigger chances to win," said Go.

Special awards will also be given away to all individual winners. Non-winners will still have a chance during the raffle draw that offers exciting prizes.

Entry fee is pegged at P2,500 for Cebu Country Club members and P3,500 for non-members. To register, one may call Clark Gothong at 0908-8171375 or the Cebu Country Club at 2310-345 and look for Donna.
