Tech Mahindra pulverizes Streamline in E-Leagues

CEBU, Philippines — The Tech Mahindra Tech Mighties spared no mercy in their 104-48 wipeout of the hapless Streamline Kangaroos in the EVO League of the Tanduay Athletics E-Leagues for Basketball Season 14 over the weekend at the City Sports Club-Cebu gym.

John Paul Sarona dropped 20 points, King Luigi Olbes chipped in 18 markers while Steven Cabanday, Robert Rebaño and King Robert Balais combined for a total of 41 points in the 52-point rout that upped Tech Mahindra's record to 10-4.

Lary Diosana Jr. finished with 20 points and Jay Arellano scored 11 for the Kangaroos, who slumped to their 12th loss against a solitary win.

In the other EVO League match, Ryan Paul Seterra scattered 19 points as the Kyocera Frontiers mauled the Shearwater Health Crusaders, 72-36, to raise their mark to 11-2.

Emmanuel Pateña came up with 11 points for the Crusaders.

In the Elite Classic Division, the Teleperformance Vipers and grandslam champions Converters flexed subdued separate opponents. The Vipers spanked the Wipro Tigers, 67-58, for their 11th victory against only two setbacks, while the Converters prevailed over the QBE Generals, 85-81, to improve to 10-4.

Germaine Jo Michael Guarisma showed the way for the Vipers with 19 points followed by Rahne Laborte with 16.

Earvin Dennis Ferraren got 13 points and Al Delos Santos added 10 for the Tigers, who fell to 2-10.

Admir Gerard Batiancila paced the Converters with 23 points.

Stuart Foot submitted a game-high 30 points but to no avail as the Generals slumped to 3-9. (FREEMAN)
