Jerusalem batters Landero in IDOL 4
CEBU, Philippines — One-time world title challenger Melvin 'Gringo' Jerusalem put on a clinical show en route to a lopsided unanimous decision victory against Toto Landero during the main event of 'IDOL 4' boxing series last Saturday night at the Minglanilla Sports Complex.
The ALA Boxing Gym stalwart, thus, improved his record to 14-2, 8KOs, while Landero fell to 10-4, 2KOs.
Landero, also a former world title challenger, supposed to provide a tough test for Jerusalem, but he was outmatched as the young ALA warrior proved to be faster and more stronger.

The official scores were 98-92, 97-93 and 98-92 all in favor for Jerusalem.
In the supporting main event, another ALA prospect in Esneth Domingo also scored a dominating unanimous decision over a bloody Reymark Taday.
