USC, USPF in KO duel for CESAFI boys volleyball title
CEBU, Philippines — The defending champion University of San Carlos and University of Southern Philippines Foundation will settle their unfinished business once and for all as they collide in the deciding match of their best-of-three finals in secondary boys volleyball event of the 18th Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation, Inc. (CESAFI) season today at the USPF gymnasium in Barangay Lahug, Cebu City.
Game time is set at 4:30 pm.
USPF drew first blood in the series, 23-25, 25-18, 25-16, 19-25, 15-13 but USC gained a lifeline with a 23-25, 25-21, 25-21, 25-22 victory in Game 2.
Meanwhile, the rubbermatch in the secondary girls volleyball finals between USPF and the University of San Jose-Recoletos (USJ-R) will take place tomorrow at 4 p.m. at the same venue.
