Mandaue belles dump Danaoto stay perfect

CEBU, Philippines — Mandaue City lady spikers defeated the hapless Danao City in straight sets to stay unbeaten in the North division quarterfinals of the 2018 Cebu Governor's Cup Inter-Cities and Municipalities Under-18 Developmental Volleyball Tournament yesterday at the Danao City Civic Center.

With the win, Mandaue improved its record to a perfect 4-0 at the same time handing Danao its third defeat in four games.

Mandaue has a chance to seal its spot in the finals with a win against Medellin this Saturday at the Mandaue City Sports and Cultural Complex.

Liloan belles, for their part, remained at No.2 in the division witha  25-11, 25-22 win over winless Tabogon.

The top two teams in the North division will battle in a best-of-three finals series. The winner will face the champion in the South division for the championship.
