From Medellin, DX3 Challenge swings back to Bogo on May 20

CEBU, Philippines — The second edition of Bogo DX3 Challenge, a dirt cross triathlon event organized by the Cornerstone Group, is set on May 20 in Barangay Marangog, Bogo City.

After the successful staging of the maiden Medellin DX3 Challenge last April 15 in Kawit, Medellin, it's time for the Bogohanons to witness  another exciting dirt cross triathlon action.

Bogo City, which hosted the first ever DX3 Challenge last year, covers the same race distance of 1-kilometer swim, 20km bike and 7km.

Over a hundred of participants are expected to join the race that features the elite, 19-below, 20-29, 40-49 and 50-above caterogies. There is also a relay event.

The elite open champion will take home P10,000, while the second and third placers will receive P7,000 and P3,000, respectively. The age-group winners will get gift certificates from the sponsors.

Entry fee is pegged at P2,800 for individual and P4,800 for relay.

Registration forms are available at Bikecology, Autofocus, Metro Hub, Infinitea, 30FME Representatives, Vice Mayor's Office of Bogo and Drawing Board, Inc. One may also register online at cornerstone8080events.com.
