CEBU, Philippines — To cater more mixed martial arts and kickboxing aficionados, Yaw-Yan ArDigma Cebu  in collaboration with Southside Fitness Gym will open its new location at eZone Paseo in F. Cabahug Street, Cebu City.

This is Yaw-Yan ArDigma’s second location next to its headquarters at Sanciangko Street, downtown Cebu City.

Being Cebu’s premier and pioneer kickboxing gym, Yaw-Yan will be more accessible to students coming from the northern part like Mandaue City.

“With this move, I hope more people who are interested in joining Yaw-Yan will be given a chance to finally train with us,” said Yaw-Yan ArDigma founder Master Benigno ‘Ekin’ Caniga Jr. “We know traffic is bad all over the city that is why we want Yaw-Yan to be accessible for everybody.”

Southside Fitness Gym owner Renault Lao said that having Yaw-Yan ArDigma in his gym is an honor and he is looking forward to see not only martial arts enthusiasts but also fitness buffs practicing the authentic Filipino martial art.

“It is an honor having Yaw-Yan in my gym,” said Lao.  “We have a huge target market like foreign students and BPO agents that are in the area.  I am also looking forward in supporting Master Ekin in his future kickboxing and MMA promotions.”

Meanwhile, it’s green and go for Yaw-Yan ArDigma’s annual summer clinic on April 1 in both locations.

The famed Filipino martial arts will once again conduct clinics especially for students with summer peeking around the corner.

“We will focus on MMA which has been very popular to teenagers because of Ultimate Fighting Championship and ONE Championship. We will teach them the basic of the sport,” added Master Ekin.

Other courses offered in the month-long camp include arnis, boxing, Yaw-Yan combat for self-defense and Muay Thai.
