ERCO, Leylam dispute inter-company crown

CEBU, Philippines — Defending champion ERCO FC booters once again battle their arch-nemesis in Leylam FC for the inter-company championship of the 19th Aboitiz Football Cup tonight at the Cebu City Sports Center.

Expect an exciting match between the two squads who have fought in the finals for the third time. Leylam prevailed in their first inter-company finals encounter, but ERCO avenged its loss last year.

Interestingly, aside from the inter-company division, the two teams are also expected to face each other in the men's open finals.

After tonight’s action, it’s going to be the under-11 finals with two teams from Don Bosco Technical College vying for the title, while Paref-Springdale takes on Ondo Espresso for the third place trophy. (FREEMAN)
