No Care Racing grabs 15 trophies at Kartzone event

- EBV -

CEBU, Philippines - The members of Team No Care Racing (NCR) continued to display their driving skills with savvy, raking in a total of 15 trophies spotlighted by four first-place honors in the second leg of the Kartzone Autocross Series recently at Kartzone in Panagdait, Brgy. Kasambagan, this city.

Speed demon Jong King, riding on his favorite Nissan Subaru, led the cast of victorious NCR racers by lording it over in the all-Wheel drive category. He placed third in the open class and recorded the third fastest time of the race behind Atty. Jess Garcia of Team Kartzone and Mato Tan of Team DGL.

Corro also stole part of the limelight by ruling the Steet Light novice category, while teammate Bobby Pangilinan landed at third. They were both driving a Toyota MRS Silver.

Corro added feathers on his cap by topping the Modified Heavy novice class followed by NCR founding member Alan “Big Al” G. Choachuy. Aside from recording the team fastest time for Silver MRS at one minute and 10 seconds, Corro also wound up second in the Modified Light novice, the Super Street Light novice and the Street Heavy novice.

“Dennis Corro was on a different zone when he grabbed six trophies to be Team NCR’s top driver - a very big improvement of his run in the first leg of Kartzone Autocross where he won only three trophies,” said Choachuy.

In the Toyota Auto Club Cebu (TACC) class, NCR’s Philip Khan “Lik-Lik” Lim came out the fastest in his MRS. It was a clean sweep by NCR with Bong Ragot and Norris See, both on a Turbo Starlet, occupying the next two spots.

Team NCR is sponsored by Dewfoam, DuraBEND Pipes, Maxxis Tires, Mobil One, Nodalos, Sunsport, Aldo Service Center, and Onitsuka.   (FREEMAN NEWS)
