Ang Probinsyano gives aid to Cebu City residents

CEBU, Philippines —  The Ang Probinsyano Partylist recently gave aid to various individuals in the barangays of Apas, Mabolo and Guadalupe in Cebu City making true to their promise of helping individuals in need.

A total of 191 individuals in the said barangays received a financial assistance of P2,000 to P3,000 each from the said partylist.

Representatives from the partylist visited in Barangay Apas to check on the conditions of the families who were affected by Typhoon Odette that badly struck Cebu in December 16, 2021 that left so much damaged.

The partylist gave the typhoon victims with “ayuda” using their own fundings.

Imogeng Judilla, a street vendor and one of beneficiaries, expressed his thanks to the partylist for not forgetting their promises of assistance to those families who bady need help.

Judilla added that the P2,000 financial aid he received was already a big help to him and his family.

Ang Probinsyano Partylist Representative Alfred delos Santos told the voters in Cebu City to choose officials that have contributed and help the community.

Delos Santos also appealed to Cebuanos that they be given another chance to serve by voting their partylist so that they can continue with their advocacies such as education, infrastructure, employment, business for the people and a better life for all.

Earlier, the said partylist also distributed educational assistance to 458 high school and college students in Sibonga and Minglanilla towns in Cebu.

Ang Probinsyano has sought representation for the first time when it ran in the 2019 midterm elections.

Ang Probinsyano is among the 51 partylists that won in that election and it is among the six partylists that got two seats. — JMD (FREEMAN)
