After the Lambug beach and canyoneering activity in Badian and the whale shark watching in Oslob, the Campalabu Sandbar and Marine Sanctuary in Pinamungajan town are also now open.

“The sandbar spans hectare during low tide and is smaller during high tide. It sits in the middle of the municipal sea-rich marine life and holds a spectacular view of the beauty of the town’s coastline and the Mt. Kanlaon in the neighboring Negros Province,” according to the Facebook post of Turismo Sa Pinamungajan / Public Information Office on March 4, 2022.

The Campalabu sandbar is one of the tourism-pride in Pinamungajan.  It is 15 minutes away from the mainland.

The LGU imposes P50 environmental fee for visitors coming in the said white sand beach, there’s a 20% discount for senior citizen and it’s free for children 7 years old and below.
