"Akong panawagan follow lang gyud ta unsay gi-require sa gobyerno...nya ang kanang mga ginikanan nga i-follow gyud nila nga parental supervise household lockdown, dapat parents are responsible enough to monitor their children," said Dela Cerna.

Yesterday, Dela Cerna said they have additional police personnel who focused on “bulabog” who are tasked to conduct inspections among establishments.

"Unya daghan tag apprehensions actually, dira sa mga interior part sa Guadalupe ug sa Kalunasan, gahapon (Saturday) murag mas daghan gahapon, murag naabot og 90 plus," said Dela Cerna.

Dela Cerna said that this is in spite of the massive police deployment in the areas under their jurisdiction. He added that most violators were apprehended inside the interior portions of the barangay.

"Lantawon nimo sa gawas, mingaw pero og imong suroyon sa interior part naa gyuy dili mo-follow, labi na ng mga minors, maglaroy-laroy lang, di gyud mo-follow sa stay at home order," said Dela Cerna.

He added that almost 30 to 40 percent of the average number of apprehended violators in the area were minors considering that they were not allowed to go out in the first place.

The apprehension is also the result of a 24 hours monitoring of the police. They were mostly arrested for not wearing facemasks and curfew with mostly don't have justifiable reason to go out.

"Ang uban mag internet (in internet cafes), ang uban wa na gyuy lingaw, mogawas lang gyud, ang internet cafes, gi-address na nako didto sa City Hall aron maisyuhan og show-cause order," said Dela Cerna.

This is also after finding out that most internet cafes in the area don't have the permits to operate.

Currently, the Guadalupe Police Station has a total of 120 police personnel. Aside from this, four quarantine control points (QCP) were also installed in the area manned by the cops from the Regional Mobile Force Battalion (RMFB)-7. — GMR (FREEMAN)
