The agreement stated that there will be a three-month price freeze of the supplies or products that will be bought by the beneficiaries.

After the end of the month, the beneficiaries may not be able to buy their needed supplies or the products may be purchased at a higher price.

According to Sugbo News, the Capitol news arm, of the P97,990,000 allocated to the offices of the Vice Governor and the Provincial Board members, P86,449,620.43 have been utilized by the beneficiaries. The remaining amount is targeted to be used up by the end of March.

“So target is March 31 nga mahurot na ni. You better look into kadtong wala pa gyuy withdrawal. Prices are up to March 31 and after that, we might already cut it off kay or else they have to buy it at a higher price,” Garcia said during her meeting with the Sugbo Negosyo team.

The team is composed of the representatives from the Mandaue Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), and PB Committee on Commerce and Industry chairperson Board Member Glenn Anthony Soco on February 26.

The list of beneficiaries who were not able to use their coupons will be submitted to the office of the PB members in order for them to take actions.
