PDEA seizes P204 thousand worth of shabu in Tagbilaran City

CEBU, Philippines — The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency has seized around P204,000 worth of shabu in a buy-bust operation in Tagbilaran City last Saturday.

PDEA-Bohol Provincial Office led by IA V Joseph Theodore Atila has seized more or less 30 grams of shabu in the possession of Joel Justol Yu.

The PDEA-Bohol together with the Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit (RPDEU) 7, Provincial Drug Enforcement Team, Bohol MARPSTA and Tagbilaran City Police Station have conducted a buy-bust operation against Yu in Barangay Dao, Tagbilaran City last Saturday evening.

Yu is a 38-year-old male, married, and a resident of the said barangay.

Authorities will be filing cases against the suspect for violation of Sections 5 and 11 of Article II of Republic Act 9165, otherwise known as the Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. — GMR (FREEMAN)
