Traffic enforcer stabbed to death

CEBU, Philippines —  A traffic enforcer from Mandaue City did not make it alive to the hospital after he was stabbed by a neighbor during an altercation.

Victim Harold Mayol, 39, and his younger sibling, Harel, 28, both residents of Zone Agbate, Barangay Paknaan, Mandaue City, were allegedly stabbed by

Rechel Dosdos, 41, using a hunting knife.

Harel is still in the hospital, as of press time.

Police Master Sergeant Jessie James Galo of the Precinct 3 of the Mandaue City Police Office (MCPO) said that when Harold confronted about the altercation between his sibling and the suspect, the latter reportedly immediately pulled out a knife and stabbed him.

The siblings were initially brought to the Mandaue City Hospital, but were later transferred to the Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center.

The suspect was nabbed after the incident and is now detained at the police station pending the filing of the criminal charges against him.  GAN (FREEMAN)
