Danao to probe ‘unruly’ residents during Sinulog

CEBU, Philippines — The Danao City government has taken steps to identify a group of men in the viral video who were accused of spreading paint mixed their saliva while partying along Mango Avenue in Cebu City during the Sinulog Grand Parade last Sunday. The group is said to have come from Danao City.

In a post on the city’s Facebook page, the Public Information Office said it has already obtained a copy of the viral video and will be subject to a thorough review to verify the identity of the people involved. The post also mentioned that the issue will be referred to the committee on peace and order, public safety and human rights of the City Council during its regular session today.

As of 8:30 p.m., the video posted on the city’s Facebook Page already have 1,200 reactions with 905 comments and 1,500 shares. (FREEMAN)
