The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) received the alarm at 5:56 p.m. yesterday and the fire was declared under control about 30 minutes later at 6:25 p.m.

According to Senior Inspector Arra Alfajaro, fire marshal at the Talisay City Fire Station, they will launch an investigation into the incident, which was believed to have started in the stockroom for armed chairs.

He pegged the damage at P60,000 more or less.

Apart from damage to properties, no one was reported hurt from the blaze.
