Radaza launches learning center in Olango

CEBU, Philippines — Lapu-Lapu City Mayor Paz Radaza led the launching of the school-based learning center and the unveiling of the Tungasan High School marker in Barangay Tungasan, Olango Island last Wednesday.

The learning center is for high school students and Alternative Learning System students which will be housed in a 4-story building funded by Rep. Aileen Radaza.

The Tungasan High School is the third high school in mainland Olango.

The incoming congresswoman said that she will continue her advocacy of making education as one of her top priorities as soon as she assumes her new post come July 1.

Radaza was with Lapu-Lapu City DepEd Superintendent Dr. Marilyn Andales and Assistant Superintendent Marcelita Dignos during the event.

Earlier, Radaza led the launching of Babag Senior Night High School and Buyong High School.

Radaza said that the opening of these high schools will provide more opportunities and convenience to high school students in the area. — MBG (FREEMAN)
