Dancer shot dead in Lapu-Lapu City

CEBU, Philippines — A man who works at a bar in Barangay Pajo, Lapu-Lapu City was shot dead at around 10 p.m. the other night.

Police Master Sergeant Jeffrey Maganase, of the Lapu-Lapu City Police Office (LLCPO) Station 3, identified the victim as Angelo Ilano, 29, a native of Taguig City, but is presently residing in Barangay  Pajo, Lapu-Lapu City.

Maganase said that the victim had just logged in for work at Tarzaaaan Gay Bar in Barangay Pajo.

The victim reportedly went back to the parking lot to get something from his parked vehicle.

While at the carpark, someone alighted from another vehicle and shot Ilano three times. The assailant immediately fled.

Maganase added the victim was rushed to the hospital for medical attention but was declared dead on the spot.

Personnel of the Scene on Crime Operations recovered three shells from a .45 pistol. — GAN (FREEMAN)
