LTFRB-7 Chief Cuizon moved to Pampanga
CEBU, Philippines — Transportation Secretary Arthur Tugade has reshuffled seven of his regional officers at the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board effective tomorrow.
In his Special Order Number 2018-249 dated August 7, 2018, Tugade has ordered the transfer of LTFRB-7 Director Ahmed Cuizon to San Fernando, Pampanga.
Eduardo Montealto Jr., who is currently based in Zamboanga City, will replace Cuizon.
Cuizon said that there will be a turnover ceremony at his office on Monday.
"You are directed to secure clearance from money and property accountabilities firm your previous RFRO prior to this assignment. This order takes effect on August 13," read a portion of Tugade's order.
To recall, Cuizon was appointed as LTFRB-7 regional director on December 2010 to October 2014. He was later transferred to the Mactan Cebu International Airport.
In March 2017 he was re-appointed as LTFRB-7 regional director and holds the position up to the present.
While being the regional director for Region-7, Cuizon holds a concurrent position in Region 8 for nine months.
Cuizon said that the reshuffling is part of routine reshuffling.
Other regional directors that were transferred include Edward Cabase to Taguegarao, Cagayan; Nasrudin Talipasan to San Fernando, La Union; Gualberto Gualberto to Palo, Leyte; Renwick Rutaquio to Lipa City, Batangas and Aminoden Guro to Zamboanga City, aside from his position in Region X. —/GAN (FREEMAN)
