Armed man falls to Danao cops
CEBU, Philippines — An alleged armed person roaming around in Barangay Cambanay, Danao City, northern Cebu was arrested by the operatives Friday afternoon.
The 31-year-old suspect, Rollyboy Silvano, was reportedly caught having in possession a caliber revolver with magazines and two live ammunition.
Danao police were tipped off about the presence of an armed man in the village.
Operatives led by Police Officer 3 Phil Restauro immediately hatched an operation that led to the arrest of Silvano.
Charges of illegal possession of firearms (Republic Act 10591 or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Act) will be filed against Silvano, who is currently detained at the Danao police lock-up facility.
On the other hand, the confiscated firearm and ammunition are set to be turned over to the crime laboratory for ballistic examination, according to Police Officer 1 Gypsy Miro. — KBQ (FREEMAN)
