CEBU, Philippines - A 16-year-old trisikad (pedicab) driver was injured after he was shot by five unidentified armed men in Barangay Inayawan, Cebu City last Tuesday afternoon.

SPO4 Alex Dacua of the homicide section said the victim, Aldrin Paraiso, was standing along the road in Sitio Tunob Lapok waiting for his elder brother when the five armed men ganged up on him.

One of the assailants allegedly punched Paraiso while the others fired shots at him.

The armed men hurriedly fled from the scene heading towards the interior portion of the barangay leaving the victim wounded.

Paraiso was rushed to the Cebu City Medical Center where he is now confined.
