USC BSN grad in Top 10
CEBU, Philippines - A graduate from the University of San Carlos in Cebu City made it to the top ten of the Nurse Licensure Examination given in December last year.
Christina Ligaya Jalandoni Iway took the 9th place with a rate of 84 percent. She shares the spot with 18 other successful examinees.
A total of 16, 908 out of 49, 066 passed the licensure examination, which was topped by a graduate of Colegio de Sta. Lourdes of Leyte Foundation Inc., the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced yesterday.
Topnotcher Glicyl Alvero got a grade of 85.80 percent, followed by Phyllis Glee Guting of Mountain View College, Alfa Cresia Nilo of Saint Mary's University and Billy Rabago of New Era University, who all got a score of 85.40 percent.
The examination was held in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Dagupan, Davao, Iloilo, Laoag, Legazpi, Lucena, Nueva Ecija, Pagadian, Pampanga, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga last December.
Margeaux Jen Acedo Samonte of Father Saturnino Urios University ranked third alone with an average of 85.2 percent.
