NP needs doctors, lawyers, medico-legal officers, priests

CEBU, Philippines – The Philippine National Police announced of its need for doctors, lawyers, medico-legal officers and priests interested in joining the police force through their Lateral Entry Program.

Almost 100 positions have been left vacant since January 7 of this year.

For health services, PNP needs 55 Doctorate Degree holders of doctor of medicine, 17 Bar members or lawyers for legal service, 14 medico-legal officers for the crime laboratory service, and eight priests for their chaplain service.

The PNP asks qualified applicants to submit their application folders to any directorial staff, chief of regional service groups, regional legal service or chaplain with offices at the headquarters in the Police Regional Office-7.

Applications may also be submitted to the chief regional health service office or regional crime lab service at the Cebu City Police Office.

The application folders should also be tabbed and should contain a table of contents with the following requirements: Tab A-Unit Endorsement, Tab B-Civil Service Documents, Tab C- Authenticated NSO Birth Certificate, Tab D-Transcript of Records, Tab E-Certificate of Eligibility, and Tab F-Local Clearances like barangay, police, NBI, Mayor, Prosecutor, MTC and RTC and Ombudsman clearances.

Tabs G, H, I, J, K, L and M would be for Handwriting Specimen, Fingerprint Specimen, Passport-size picture with name tag, Medical Exam, Drug Test, Neuro-Psychiatric test and agility test, respectively. – AJ dela Torre/MEEV (THE FREEMAN)
