Cebu's street fashion scene
“#DenimFreedom”
July 27, Northwing Atrium, SM City Cebu
Two of the metro’s premiere lifestyle, entertainment and shopping destinations hosted special fashion presentations over the weekend. The two events essentially proved how ever-evolving the metro’s street fashion scene is.
Members of Cebu and Davao biker clubs headlined the “#DenimFreedom” fashion presentation last Saturday that featured the in-season mens-, womens- and childrenswear collections of the Harley Davidson apparel brand.
A part of SM Malls’ nationwide observance of July as “Denim Month,” a number of the metro’s favorite ramp models shared the runway with community models – in ready-to-wear outfits that were styled by Cebuano designer Edward Castro.
“The Stylist’s Closet”
July 28, The Gallery, Ayala Center Cebu
The stylistic sensibilities of stylist Pam Quiñones (who has worked with celebrities KC Concepcion, Anne Curtis and Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray) amped up the fashion presentation last Sunday the new fashion series by Ayala Malls – “The Stylist’s Closet.”
The models were members of the metro’s stylish clique and providing approving critiques on the event’s featured outfit combinations were hosts Tim Yap and Divine Lee.
A mix of collections by sixteen local and foreign brands were basically showcased during the event. These were divided into four thematic leanings: “Fearless,” “Natural,” “Expressive,” and “Unpredictable.” It was the seventh leg of the new nationwide fashion presentation series by Ayala Malls.
