Amigos de Espana Meeting

It was like hitting two birds with one stone when the Amigos de España had its monthly meeting last September 20 at Barcelona, one of the function rooms of Casino Español de Cebu.

At the luncheon meeting were members of Amigos de España headed by the beautiful president Myra Gonzalez and founder of Amigos de España Sr. Don Jaime Picornell. What was quite significant and memorable to us during that meeting was that the group of beautiful women in this burg was headed by Myra who honored their president emeritus Amparito Lhuillier with an asalto whose birthday was three days away, on September 23, and also a despedida for  founder Jaime Picornell who was leaving the next day for Spain.

With Myra heading the luncheon gathering, we considered it as “Muy Alegre” since the camaraderie was warm and, of course, we know practically all the members of Amigos de España. To Myra and the Señoras, Muchisimas Gracias!
