CEBU, Philippines —  Kevin Ceth Bustamante, representing the University of Cebu, and Lovely Ivy Handog, representing the University of San Jose-Recoletos, emerged as the winners of this year’s “Mr. and Miss Tourism Cebu” pageant.

Klent Jefferson Bering of the University of Southern Philippines Foundation and Lindsey Sanico of the University of San Carlos bagged the pageant’s first runners-up awards, and Aaron Dave Embrado of the University of San Carlos and Kate James dela Rosa of the University of San Jose-Recoletos won second runners-up, respectively.

The six winners bested twelve other tourism and hospitality management students who joined the annual beauty tilt.

Held on July 14 at the Activity Center of the Ayala Center Cebu, the “Mr and Miss Tourism Cebu” pageant was part of the highlights of the fifth International Travel Festival (ITF) by MyEventology Co., an annual lifestyle bazaar for travel enthusiasts.

Organized with the support of the Tourism and Hospitality Educators Association in the Visayas, Inc. and initially staged under the “Mr and Miss ITF” moniker, the pageant has traditionally been a part of ITF’s “Tourism Students Day’s” pim of activities for three years running.
