TNT alum in high spirits over well-received new single

STAR CIRCUIT - Ricky L. Calderon - The Freeman

“Tawag ng Tanghalan” alumnus Myko Manago is busy promoting his newest single “Kung Pwede Lang Sana” under RJA Productions. The song was composed by Noriel Calderon and can be downloaded via streaming platforms.

While cooped up in the house during lockdown, Myko is helping his family run their small business. He also keeps himself occupied creating social media content.

The singer said he has adjusted himself to the new normal. “If there is one thing that we can say about this new normal, a lot of platforms had come out where artists can go live to showcase their talent or promote artists online.”

Myko had experienced loss of income because many of his gigs were cancelled.

“Everyone has to move forward and I guess the best thing to do is adapt to what is happening around us so we won’t be affected physically and emotionally,” he said.

What keeps Myko in high spirits is the release of his “hugot” single which has been receiving positive feedback. It was also the first time he had worked with an upcoming composer.

Wa “It’s a love ditty for someone hoping for love. A guy opens up to his best friend that he has feelings for a girl. But the girl is in love with someone else. Unfortunately for the girl, the man she loves only hurts her and takes her love for granted. That’s why the song goes ‘Kung pwede lang sana maging ako na lamang siya. Hindi ka na sana luluha kahit kailan man.”
