Beauties of ‘Steal’ share their 2021 goals

CEBU, Philippines — Nathalie Hart, Meg Imperial, Jennifer Lee and Ella Cruz are raring to make up for lost opportunities of 2020 when stay-at-home orders and a decline in showbiz industry production put a halt on their careers. During a Zoom interview to promote their thriller-comedy flick “Steal” under Viva Films, the actresses shared to The FREEMAN their aspirations for 2021.

Nathalie: My goal this year is to really promote my upcoming company. I made a plant-based product so I’m really excited to share it to the world. All our products are organic and plant-based. What I sell is not whitening, it’s a tanning product, so that makes it different from others. I wish that people can support me and follow my journey into tanning. I also have vitamin C serum, body wash, facial wash, facial and body scrub. That’s what I‘m looking forward on.

Ella: We’re building our family dream house and business. That’s what I’m focusing on, so I need to work hard to get it done right away. I’m also focusing on music. I’ve just realized that I want to release a lot of songs since it’s been two years that I did. People used to embrace my music, and I also dance, so hopefully they will still patronize. I’m also learning how to speak Korean since I have a lot of projects in Korea and I’m a K-Pop fan. Hopefully I won’t need a translator in the future. Movies too, I wish to make more. I’m also working with Oomph TV. As they say, bawi tayo this 2021.

Meg: Since hindi ko nagawa in 2020, I’ll invest my savings in businesses. I have businesses now, but I plan to venture into something else which I cannot disclose yet, but it’s new and challenging. Self-improvement always. 2021 is the time to transition in life. I guess it’s best that I already worked out things in 2020, so 2021, hey I’m prepared, ready just in case magkaroon na ng vaccine and we can go back to normal. Also to socialize more, kasi sabi nga, I’m reserved, medyo pili lang yung tao na nakakausap ko kasi ganoon talaga yung personality ko. Pero I’ll try to be a better person in 2021 so that hindi masayang yung year ko. Nasayang na siya sa 2020 dahil house ka lang, so now I appreciate socializing even more.

Jennifer: I g uess focus on our online business. It declined during the pandemic, so now we’re focusing on marketing. I opened a food online business called Steakhouse Manila. In terms of career, since most of my upcoming projects are action…sa action talaga ako nabigyan ng break. After ‘Maria,’ sunod-sunod na yung action projects ko. Last year was very lonely. This year is a very good year for me, coming from last year dahil mas maraming trabaho. So thank you sa Viva.
