Cebuano footballer on PBB
CEBU, Philippines — The identity of Pinoy Big Brother Connect’s Striving Footballer ng Cebu was unveiled yesterday on the reality show’s Kumu app, as well as on “It’s Showtime” and “TV Patrol.”
Chico Alicaya, 26, is a resident of Cebu City who graduated from the University of San Carlos.
In his audition video, Chico said that he deserve to be a PBB housemate “because I know I can take all the challenges. I don’t give up easily and will give my 110 percent, because all my life I’ve been a student-athlete, and I know what it takes to give your all and take on all the challenges in front of you. I’m also fun and there’s much more about me.”
On why his favorite sport is football, Chico said, “I love the feel of it, the joy you get when you score a goal. The teamwork of 11 players just to score and win a game is amazing.”
He’s fond of the television shows “Game of Thrones,” “Brooklyn 99” and “How To Get Away With Murder.” Chris Hemsworth and Anne Hathaway are his favorite actors.
The 14 official housemates will enter the famed house this Sunday, Dec. 6. Will Chico follow the paths of previous Cebuano PBB winners Kim Chiu, Keanna Reeves and Slater Young?
