Baron Geisler to train as military reservist
CEBU, Philippines — Baron Geisler is following in the footsteps of fellow actors Matteo Guidicelli, Dingdong Dantes, Gerald Anderson, and singer Ronnie Liang who trained as military reservists.
In a recent post on his Instagram account, Baron shared photos of him at the 511th Naval Squadron Reserve headquarters in Pier 3 Tinago, Cebu City. He confirmed his plan in a reply to a follower who asked if he was going to train with the Navy.
“I will do my best to serve our country in every way I can by God’s grace,” Baron wrote in the comments section of his Instagram.
The actor has been based in Cebu after undergoing rehab in a Cebu City facility. He has since opened a barber shop in Banilad that employs recovering addicts and alcoholics, and married a Cebuana who gave birth to their first child in January. — VAB
