CEBU, Philippines — A Miss World Philippines Top 15 finisher, a Mutya ng Pilipinas title-holder and a first-timer on the national stage are Kagandahang Flores (KF) Cebu’s bets to Binibining Pilipinas 2019.

Gazini Ganados, 23, is hoping for a slot to return to the national stage after placing in the Top 15 during the Miss World Philippines 2014 pageant.

Born in Dapitan City to a Filipino mother and a Palestinian father, the five-foot-eight Tourism graduate from the University of San Jose-Recoletos is currently a resident of Talisay City.

Her pageant titles include Miss Milo Olympics 2012, Reyna ng Aliwan 2015 second runner-up, Miss PRISAA 2017 and Miss Bohol 2017 first runner-up.

Seeking another national crown and yet another shot to represent the country in an international tilt is Mandaue City’s Ilene de Vera.

The University of the Philippines-Cebu Mass Communications graduate was crowned Mutya ng Pilipinas Asia Pacific International 2017, and in the same year placed fourth runner-up at Miss Asia Pacific International.

Ilene, 23 years old and measuring five-foot-nine, is an aspiring broadcast journalist who is eyeing to be the successor of Miss Universe Philippines 2018 Catriona Gray.

Completing KF Cebu’s 2019 triumvirate is a statuesque model from Ormoc City who is debuting in the big leagues of Philippine pageantry.

Donna Ceniza, 24, holds a degree in Business Administration from Western Leyte College. A towering beauty at 5’9 ½, Donna is a go-to fitting model of renowned designer Cary Santiago.

Among her pageant titles are Miss Western Leyte College 2011 second runner-up and Miss Ormoc 2013.

Gazini, Ilene and Donna are set to screen today for Bb. Pilipinas, which has set its application deadline on March 15. The Philippines’ topmost pageant has announced its coronation will be held in June.

The KF Cebu camp – led by beauty queen maker Jonas Borces, alongside Malayka Yamas and Roy Erwin Tizon – has mentored beauty queens Miss Earth 2008 Karla Henry, Miss Tourism International 2012 Rizzini Gomez, Miss Tourism International 2013 Angeli Dione Gomez, Bb. Pilipinas Intercontinental 2014 Kris Tiffany Janson, Bb. Pilipinas Supranational 2015 Rogelie Catacutan, Miss Earth 2015 Jamie Herrell, Miss International Japan 2017 Natsuko Tsutsui, Bb.
