Alessandra de Rossi writes her second movie

STAR CIRCUIT - Ricky Calderon - The Freeman

If ever Alessandra De Rossi decides to take a break from acting, the “Kita Kita” star can definitely find an alternative career as a scriptwriter.

Her latest work is the love story titled “Through Night and Day,” where she is paired with good friend Paolo Contis. Directed by Veronica Velasco, this unique romantic tale was shot in Iceland.

Alessandra said this is a dream project for her. Having finished the film, it somehow lessened the pain when she didn’t get the role promised her in a teleserye.

She says “Through Night and Day” is a very important project for her and she was inspired to do the story of a couple who went through a tough time that nearly ruined their relationship.

Paolo and Alessandra have been friends for so long and they have good rapport. Filming had been smooth-sailing and nothing unpleasant happened.

“Through Night and Day,” produced by Viva Films, will open in cinemas on November 14.

Award-winning actor JM De Guzman returns to the big screen via “Kung Paano Siya Nawala” under TBA Films and opposite Rhian Ramos.

After a successful TV comeback through “Araw-Gabi,” where he was paired with Barbie Imperial, JM electrifies the big screen anew. He may have done some bad choices in life, but he certainly deserves to return to the big screen and be given another chance.

Two short films made by Michael V will be the centerpiece when “Bubble Gang” marks its anniversary this month.

We remember Sef Cadayona told us this information when we dropped by the taping of the longest-running gag show on Philippine TV.

The two short films will feature familiar “Bubble Gang” characters that became household words through the years. Each character will be given a moment that will be woven into the story created by Micheal V.

So expect another memorable night as “Bubble Gang” celebrates a milestone.
