Kris Bernal and Aljur Abrenica reunite via Pinoy remake of Coffee Prince

CEBU, Philippines - Kapuso Network’s Kris Bernal and Aljur Abrenica charm Filipino viewers once more as they make their grand return on primetime TV via the Pinoy adaptation of the hit Koreanovela, Coffee Prince.

Kris and Aljur’s loveteam headlines the remake of Coffee Prince which became one of network’s highest-rating Koreanovelas in 2008 and spawned a huge following and fascination among Filipinos.

Both actors are ecstatic on their reunion project on the small screen after having the chance to appear in various programs which catapulted their loveteam into the forefront including Dyesebel, Luna Mystika, All My Life, Sine Novela presents Dapat Ka Bang Mahalin? and The Last Prince.

Kris feels very excited to get another opportunity to work with Aljur for this primetime soap. “Siguradong na-miss ng viewers yung Alkris tandem sa GMA. Excited kaming dalawa for Coffee Prince dahil first romantic-comedy TV project namin ito in GMA.” She is also thrilled of her role who pretends to be a guy, “Dapat abangan nila kung gaano kaguwapo si Kris Bernal 'pag naging lalaki.”

Aljur, on the other hand, couldn’t be any happier to reignite his onscreen chemistry with Kris, “Yung pinagsamahan namin walang kapantay at kung ikukumpara sa iba, malaking bagay 'yung Kris Bernal sa buhay ni Aljur. Ganu'n kalalim ang relasyon namin."

Playing equally vital roles are some of today’s biggest names in drama: Tessie Tomas, Leo Martinez, Ronnie Henares, Ces Quesada and Ms Celia Rodriguez.

Adding star power to this heartwarming series are the scene-stealing actors and actresses including Boy2 Quizon, Steven Silva, Fabio Ide, Sef Cadayona, Kim Komatsu.

Making Coffee Prince even grander are two of the network’s fresh-faced and fast-rising stars who will add spice to Kris and Aljur’s love story. Introducing in this soap are Max Collins and Benjamin Alves in their very first primetime project.

Coffee Prince is under the helm of acclaimed actor and TV director Ricky Davao.
