CEBU, Philippines —  Cebuano technopreneurs are taking the challenge of helping companies navigate the new way of doing business in a technology-dependent economy, by expanding its diverse digital solutions across industries.

Established in 2019, startup firm Simplifying IT Corp. has widened its services portfolio aiding organizations that are now catching up in the rapid change in digitalization post pandemic.

Young Cebuano founders Jefferson Castillo and Divine Capitanea-Golingay said while the company offers premier technology solutions at par with branded names, their commitment is to hand-hold local companies in their transformation to adapt full digitalization without hurting their almost empty pockets.

“The pandemic proved to be a game changer and has accelerated the need for digital adoption. We want to position ourselves as a local startup that can cater to the digital needs of our fellow Cebuano businessmen,” said Golingay, who used to head the human resource department of an IT company.

Simplifying IT Corp., understands the critical needs of businesses to fully migrate every aspect of their operations digitally, and this is not an easy job for those organizations which do not have the expertise and knowledge of technology.

“Our strategy shapes our customer's future, combining deep business insights with the understanding of how technology will impact industries, business models and individuals. Our focus on issues related to digital disruption, redefining competitiveness and operating business models as well as the workforce of the future helps our customers find future value and growth in a digital world,” explained software developer Castillo.

At present, the local start-up offers service-specific SaAs (software as a service) solutions such as:

• Track, which enables property owners to better manage their properties and provide property managers, homeowners the best property management solutions; LearnHub, an alternative digital learning solution that will organize relevant online content and learning materials enabling secure access to applicable users;

• Take ‘N exam, a real-time comprehensive and interactive way to review;

• HRCliq, a digital human resource management platform;

• Medicus Clinic, a software that improves healthcare efficiency through secure cloud-based EHR;

• e-Commerce solution for small and medium business;

• customized website development and

• Air Fiber, which provides advance air fiber solution for your internet.

Significantly, the company is also targeting the dire need of real estate developers (PropTech) and educational institution (EdTech) to digitalize their respective operations from back-end to frontline operations including customer engagement, among others.

“We can say that Tract is the first of its kind in the country. We have talked to top real estate developers and it’s surprising to discover that they do not have this type of solution yet or at least not this comprehensive and cloud-based,” noted Golingay.
