Primehomes breaks ground in Carcar

CEBU, Philippines — Cebuano developer Primehomes Development Corporation launched its 6th residential project, located in barangay Tuyom, Carcar City.

Primehomes held its ceremonial groundbreaking Wednesday, to start the development of 1.8 hectare property that will have over 200 house and lot units, called “Henaville Homes Carcar.”

The company’s president and chief executive officer (CEO) Benedict Que said this project will kick off its aggressive development plans for Carcar and other progressive towns in Cebu province.

Primehomes, a sister company of Golden Prince Hotels and Suites, entered into residential real estate development in 2008 with its 306-unit economic housing project also called Henaville in Compostela, Cebu.

Que believes that Carcar, being a heritage City is fast developing both in tourism and industry. His company he said will introduce more developments in this City.

Part of the more than 200 units to be built in the gated subdivision will be allocates for its socialized housing component. This means, some units or 54 out of the total 251 houses will be priced within the P790 thousand range.

Complete with basic subdivision amenities, Henaville Homes Carcar offers more facilities, such as a jogging trail, car port for the socialized component, among others, said Primehomes business development manager Harold Vince See.

The company targets to turn over the house and lot units to owners by 2022.

With project cost of P120 million to P150 million, the company hopes to start pre-selling activities in the next two weeks, as soon as its license to sell will be released.

Last year, the company launched its 45 family homes project in Minglanilla called “Luna Dos.”
