“Siete Palabras” live on air March 30

CEBU, Philippines — The passion and death of Jesus Christ will be aired live over Brigada News FM Cebu on March 3.

"Siete Palabras" on air is produced by R & D Production, now on its 30th year of presenting this special radio program.

The Siete Palabras (Seven Last Words) of Jesus Christ on the cross will air on Good Friday, March 30, from 8 a.m. until 12 nn. It is produced and directed by brothers Raul and Diego Alugar.

The radio presentation is designed for the sick and aged and those who are living in far-flung areas of the Visayas and Mindanao who cannot attend the celebration.

The speakers of this year’s program are Rev. Fr. Crescenciano Ubod (Introduction/Sermon), Bro. Frankie Flores, Layminister (1st word) “Father, forgive them, for they don’t know what they’re doing,” Bro. Board of Trustee (3rd word) “Dear woman, here is your son,” Bro. Romeo Catipay, Layminister (4th word) “My God, my God why have you abandoned me?,” Bro. Darwin Maningo, Layminister (5th word) “I am thirsty,” Bro. Raul Alugar, Layminister (6th word) “It is finished!”, and Bro. Diego Alugar, Layminister (7th word) “Father, I entrust my spirit into your hands!”
