Deadline for biz permit renewal set on January 20

CEBU, Philippines – Businesses are informed on the renewal of mayor’s business permit starting today until January 20 at the trade hall of SM City Cebu.

In a notice, the Cebu City government’s city treasurer office said enterprises only have until Jan. 20 to apply for business permit renewal, assessments and payments of business taxes, fees and charges without penalty.

Payments made beyond the deadline are subject to penalty of 25% surcharge; 2% interest per month and a late securing fee.

In addition, the city government also said the deadline for real property tax payment without penalty is on March 31, 2016.

Property owners may opt to pay their real property taxes in quarterly installment on or before the end of every quarter.  (FREEMAN)
