CEBU, Philippines – New Zealand is fast becoming an attractive migration prospect for Filipinos, next to Canada.

Pinoy Care Visa Center Inc. president and chief executive officer Prisca Niña Mabatid made this assessment following the notable increased of interest from Filipinos wanting to migrate to New Zealand.

In an interview, Mabatid said that following the easing of migration requirements imposed by the New Zealand government, Filipinos, even those that do not have bachelor degrees and job experience, can easily enter New Zealand and find a promising career.

Both (Canada and New Zealand) are attractive and open for migration especially for skilled Filipinos, but New Zealand now is the "darling" destination for Filipinos who dream to easily get a job, or a permanent residency due to a lot ways offered by the NZ government, said Mabatid.

Because of this, Mabatid announced that her company will hold a half day orientation event dubbed "Lipat Bayan," on November 29, 2015 at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino, to unveil the different migration opportunities to Cebuanos, offered by New Zealand , as well as Canada.

With the desperate need of these two countries to inflate their population count and boost their manpower supply, it is now easier for families, and even college level Filipinos to "live and work" in these countries.

With a total population of (only) 4.5 million, New Zealand is obviously opening its doors widely to foreign nationals, like Filipinos to work in their promising industries lime healthcare, Information Technology, Culinary, Engineering, among others.

New Zealand is an island country in the Southwestern Pacific Ocean. In 2009 to 2010, an annual target of 45,000 to 50,000 permanent residence approvals was set by the New Zealand Immigration Service.

Canada, which has been known over the years as one of the friendlier countries open for immigrants, has continues to open its doors to foreign nationals, who may want to live and work and live in this huge nation known as the world's second largest country in terms of area, yet with small population count of over 30 million.

According to Mabatid, Pinoy Care Visa Center Inc., which has been in the business for 16 years, is constantly updating its partnership and connections with these two countries, in order to properly facilitate the processing of immigration applications. (FREEMAN)
