DITO extends SRO offer period 1 week, delays listing

DITO CME's [DITO 5.98 11.36%] disclosure said that it would extend the offer period until January 25, 2022, which provides DITO shareholders with an extra week to avail of the stock rights offering (SRO) opportunity. The extension means that the SRO offer period will be 29 days in duration.

The listing date of the shares has been pushed back from January 26 to February 2. DITO didn’t provide any reasons for the extension/delay.

MB BOTTOM-LINE

Not much to do here other than adjust the Market Calendar dates and continue to follow the news that will drip down to us through media outlets for context on what might be happening.

DITO is usually tight-lipped about these kinds of changes, so I’m not expecting to learn much about the “why” before the end of the new extended period.
