Mitra umaasang makakagalaw na ang iba’t ibang pro sports

MANILA, Philippines — Habang marami nang nababakunahan laban sa coronavirus disease (COVID-19) ay inaasahan ng Games and Amusements Board (GAB) na luluwagan pa ang health and safety protocols sa mga professional sports.

Ito ang sinabi kahapon ni GAB chairman Abraham ‘Baham’ Mitra sa online session ng Philippine Sportswriters Association (PSA) Forum.

“I think it’s going to be brighter. Kasi if you compare us now and last year, ang dami nang bakunado at ang dami pang mababakunahan,” ani Mitra. “It’s a lot better than what it used to be.”

Matagumpay na nai-sagawa ng PBA ang Phi-lippine Cup sa full bubble setup sa Clark noong nakalipas 2020 at kasaluku-yang naka-semi bubble sa Bacolor, Pampanga para sa parehong kumperensiya.

Nairaos na rin ang iba pang professional sports kagaya ng volleyball, football, women’s basketball at chess sa mga probinsya at siyudad na maluwag ang quarantine classifications.

Samantala, bukas pa rin ang pinto ng GAB para pakinggan ang panig ni San Miguel 3x3 player Daniel De Guzman ukol sa diumanoy game-fixing.
