All set for Watsons Race for Wellness

CEBU, Philippines — Everything is already in place for Watsons Race for Wellness:The Beauty Adventure slated on May 27 at SM Seaside City.

Watsons wants to strengthen its brand further not only by offering the best products but also other ways to look good and feel great through running.

From the usual early morning runs, the organizers will be staging the event late in the afternoon to give runners time to party after the race.

Runners are expected to have a good time during and after the race as they will only be dealing with either of the two short distances, the 5K and 10K.

A fun, colorful, and exciting event with lots of surprises and freebies for the participants is being promised spiced up with Sinulog dancers along the route.

It’s being called a beauty adventure as runners will pass through giant beauty obstacles during the race as well as an inflatable tunnel with foam.

Entry fee is pegged at P1,000 for the 5K and P1,200 for the 10K inclusive of a singlet, race bib, finisher’s medal, and loot bag from Watsons.

Cash prizes will also be given away to the top finishers in both male and female divisions. —  (FREEMAN)
