SBP nagpasalamat kay Marcos Jr.

MANILA, Philippines — Lubos ang pasasalamat ng Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP) sa solidong suporta ng pamahalaan para sa hosting ng FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 sa pamamagitan ng administrative order No. 5 na nilagdaan ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.

Ayon sa direktiba ng Pangulo, magbubuo ang gob­yerno ng isang Inter-Agency Task Force na tututok sa paghahanda ng bansa para sa World Cup hosting na malaking tulong sa SBP bilang host.

“We at the SBP are honored and humbled by the sup­port from His Excellency President Ferdinand R. Mar­cos, Jr. with his creation of an Inter-Agency Task Force through Administrative Order No. 05,” ani SBP president Al Panlilio. “This will aid the SBP immensely in the homestretch of our preparations for hosting the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023.”

Naatasang mamuno sa Task Force ang Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) sa pamumuno ni chairman Richard Bachmann.

“I humbly express my gra­titude to President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr. and our leaders in the Senate and Congress for their support in ensuring that the Philippines delivers the best World Cup hosting in history,” ani Bachmann.

Makakasama ng PSC sa Task Force ang Department of Foreign Affairs, De­partment of Health, De­part­ment of Internal and Lo­cal Government, Department of Public Works and Highways, Department of Tou­rism, Department of Transportation, Bureau of Customs, Bureau of Immigration, Philippine National Police at Metro Manila De­ve­lopment Authority.
